[07-28-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – 68-Year-Old Male Bicyclist Killed Following Vehicle Collision in Highland

A 68-year-old man was killed after a bicycle vs. vehicle collision in Highland on Friday evening, July 28, 2023.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred on Baseline Street near McKinley Street at around 8:25 p.m.

While traveling east on Baseline Street, a Chevy Silverado driven by a 69-year-old man struck a bicyclist crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk and without lights.

The victim, a resident of Highland, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the vehicle’s driver was uninjured.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved.
