One person was killed after a multi-vehicle collision in Placer County on Sunday evening, July 30, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred along Highway 65, south of Riosa Road.
According to the report, the three-vehicle crash resulted in one dead person. The identity of the individual who died remains unknown.
Highway 65 was closed in both directions for the investigation but has since reopened.
