[07-30-2023] One Person Injured After DUI Hit-and-Run Collision in Santa RosaA person was injured after a hit-and-run collision caused by a DUI driver in Santa Rosa on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

The Santa Rosa Police Department responded to the accident near Railroad Street and Third Street at an unspecified time.

It is unknown what led to the crash, but a driver who was a crash victim flagged down an officer. He sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

A search was conducted for the suspect vehicle, which was eventually located in a parking lot near Fifth Street and Wilson Street. There were signs of alcohol impairment on the driver of the suspect vehicle.

The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Santa Rosa resident Alfredo G. In addition to DUI with injury, he also faces a hit-and-run charge.
