Los Angeles County Workplace Accident Lawyers
Workplace injuries refer to any injury or illness that occurs while an employee is at work. It is common for states to limit the definition of “workplace injury” to one that “arises from and in the course of employment” to prevent workers from pursuing compensation for injuries that are not directly related to their work.
Work-related injuries can range from small scrapes and bruises to permanent disability or even death. In any workplace accident lawsuit, an insurance company may attempt to contact you and urge you to accept a settlement offer. It is important to consult with an attorney so that you can receive the right amount of compensation.
