Alcohol is thought to have contributed to the collision. Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics
In the US, there are far too many auto accidents. About 33,654 people die in car accidents every year.
Since Los Angeles is so populated, there are many places where crashes could happen. The 405, 101, 10, and 5 are frequently congested on the way to work or school, and there are many chances for rear-end collisions.
At the end of 2016, there were 55,350 accidents on the streets of Los Angeles. This represents an increase from the prior year of about 20 percent. According to the LA Times, at least one person perils their life in a car accident in Los Angeles every 40 hours.
An accident is deemed to have happened when multiple vehicles are involved. These kinds of incidents happen when two or more cars collide. Two cars colliding will probably result in three cars being hit.
Numerous factors, including dangerous behaviors like speeding, driving while intoxicated, driving while distracted, driving in bad weather, driving the wrong way, and breaking traffic laws, contributed to these collisions.
In a collision involving multiple vehicles, steer clear of the other cars and toward something soft, like a bush or a railing. Keep an eye out for anyone who may be stumbling after an accident.
