At least one person was injured after a three-vehicle collision caused by a DUI driver in San Bernardino County on Saturday evening, August 5, 2023.
The local authorities responded to the accident near Yucca Mesa Road and Buena Vista in Yucca Mesa around 10:49 p.m.
The cause of the accident is unclear, but it involved three vehicles and a utility pole, which resulted in power lines being downed. Injuries were likely sustained, as a hospital was contacted but could not offer further information.
The number of injuries and identities of those injured were not reported.
Several power outages were reported in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley on Saturday night, but the service was fully restored by 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The investigation into the crash continues.
