[08-05-2023] One Person Killed, Several Others Injured After DUI Two-Vehicle Collision in StocktonOne person was killed, while several others were injured after a collision involving two cars caused by a DUI driver in Stockton on Saturday evening, August 5, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol and Stockton Police Department responded to the accident around 11:56 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near March Lane.

A Dodge sedan struck an SUV, causing it to crash into the center divider. One person inside the SUV died at the scene. The SUV was also occupied by several other people who were injured. There were no life-threatening injuries to the victims.

It was identified that the man killed was a Hispanic adult male. There was no other information about the identities and total number of injured people involved.

A DUI charge has been filed against the Dodge driver as the investigation into the crash continues.
