[08-08-2023] Riverside County, CA – Bicyclist Died Following Car Collision in Moreno Valley

A bicyclist died in the hospital after colliding with a car in Moreno Valley on Tuesday morning, August 8, 2023.

According to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, the incident occurred on Alessandro Boulevard, east of Graham Street, around 5:21 a.m.

CalFire paramedics arrived at the scene to find the bicyclist lying on the roadway and the black Kia Optima that it collided with. The Kia driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

After the collision, the victim suffered major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in this incident.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved.
