[08-08-2025] Los Angeles County, CA โ€“ Worker in Grave Condition After Being Trapped Under Stone Slab in Valley Glen

A worker at a masonry warehouse was taken to the hospital in grave condition after being trapped under a large stone slab in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, on Friday, August 8, 2025.

The incident occurred at the warehouse located in the 7400 block of North Varna Avenue. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and found the worker pinned beneath the heavy stone slab.

Emergency crews were able to extricate the victim, who was then transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
