[08-09-2022] San Diego County, CA - 50-year-old Rider Suffers Injuries in City Heights Motorcycle CrashA 50-year-old motorcycle rider suffered serious wounds after a motorcycle crash accident in City Heights last Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2022.

According to San Diego police Officer John B., the accident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. as the victim was traveling east on University Avenue near Euclid Avenue.

They took the rider to the hospital for treatment of severe wounds that included a fractured left femur, a dislocated left shoulder, and fractured ribs. The injuries were not life-threatening.

Meanwhile, a 67-year-old female driver of a Buick LaCrosse was involved in the collision. She turned right from 50th street onto University and directly into the rider’s path while approaching 50th street.

According to Buttle, the driver of the Buick was unharmed in the collision, which is currently under the traffic division’s investigation by the San Diego Police Department.
