The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to the accident on Love Way and Walnut Avenue at an unspecified time.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, but it involved three vehicles crashing into each other. Authorities found four people sustaining unknown injuries at the scene. Two of those people were trapped and freed from the wreckage.
Three people were transported to a local hospital for further medical care. The fourth one was treated only at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, but no names have been released.
