One unidentified man was injured following a shooting at a Walmart in Antelope on Thursday night, August 11.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. at the Walmart on Watt Avenue.
The deputies arrived and discovered a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. The shooter had fled the scene.
The wounded man was taken to a nearby hospital, where the sheriff’s office reported that he was expected to survive.
According to the preliminary investigation, the shooter and the victim seem to know each other.
The shooting is being investigated, but no other information is available regarding a description of the potential shooter.
The incident remains under investigation.
