[08-11-2023] Butte County, CA – At Least 1 Person Injured Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Oroville

At least one person was injured after a hit-and-run collision in Oroville on Friday evening, August 11, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occured at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Ophir Road around 8:05 p.m.

It was reported that a maroon 2016 Nissan Sentra was involved in the hit-and-run collision. It remains unclear what events led to the collision pending an investigation.

The incident resulted in at least one injury; however, precisely how many were harmed in the collision could not be determined.

The suspect’s vehicle has been found abandoned on the side of the road.
