Kaylynn H., 21, of Yorba Linda purposefully struck a Tesla, causing two other cars to veer off the road in the process.
One of the drivers who was harmed in the collision had to have a limb amputated.
Other collision victims, according to the authorities, received serious injuries.
Heatley sped away in a Jeep Wrangler from the scene. The police were able to arrest her.
Regarding the victims’ conditions, no new information is known.
The California Highway Patrol is inspecting the incident.
