[08-12-2022] Riverside County, CA - Woman Injured Three People Following a Hit-and-Run and Reckless Driving Accident on the 91 FreewayAccording to authorities, a 21-year-old Orange County woman intentionally struck a car with her SUV on the State Route 91 Freeway in Riverside County, causing two more cars to collide and seriously injuring the drivers on Monday, August 12, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 7:00 a.m. on the westbound 91 at McKinley Street in Corona.

According to Officer Navarro, the woman intentionally rammed the sports car with her Jeep Wrangler, resulting in “two vehicles leaving the roadway.”

Major injuries were sustained by the drivers of the other two vehicles and the Tesla driver. One driver was injured when the Tesla was hit and was forced off the motorway, requiring “amputation of one of his limbs.” They are still recovering from the moment.

The suspect and the Tesla driver were involved in an undisclosed dispute on Friday.

CHP investigators successfully obtained the Jeep’s license plate number, which led to the identification of Heatley as the suspect.

Yorba Linda resident Kaylynn Marie H. was arrested on Monday afternoon due to being called in for an interview at the CHP Riverside office. She was taken into the Robert Presley Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run with injuries, and reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.

According to City News Service, Heatley posted her $40,000 bond and was released from the downtown prison on Tuesday morning.

There was no background information released about Heatley.
