One person died, and two others were injured in a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Lake Elsinore Saturday evening.
According to Riverside County Sheriff Sgt. Brad F., the collision with another vehicle carrying three people, happened around 10:30 p.m. near Lake Street and Lakeshore Drive.
The woman, Margarita R. of Santa Ana, age 31, was accused of being the drunk driver who slammed into cars near Lake Elsinore and was released from detention on Tuesday.
She was detained and lodged in the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on suspicion of DUI gross vehicular manslaughter.
Rosales was released from jail late on a Monday after posting a $75,000 bond.
Foster claimed that before patrol deputies and county fire workers came a short while later, the culprit fled from her crushed automobile.
According to fire officials, paramedics discovered two people who were critically hurt and one who had less severe wounds.
One of the victims with serious injuries was confirmed deceased at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been made public.
The Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar received the remaining two victims for treatment. They are getting better.

The accident occurred around 10:33 p.m. in the 29000 block of Lake Street.
According to local authorities, they transported two people to a hospital by ambulance, one with significant injuries and the other with minor ones. One was pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the two others assessed on the spot decided against receiving additional medical care.
The alleged drunk driver who caused the collision at that point ran from the scene on foot before being caught by deputies, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
