Two teenage girls were ejected from a vehicle and severely injured in a crash in Victorville on Wednesday night, August 13, 2025.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded around 9:45 p.m. to the intersection of 1st Avenue and Ottawa Street.
Deputies said 18-year-old Tremel M. of Victorville was driving a 2014 Buick Enclave southbound on 1st Avenue when he failed to stop at the Ottawa Street intersection and collided with another vehicle.
The impact ejected both 17-year-old female passengers from Tremel’s vehicle. One victim was airlifted to a local trauma center, while the other’s condition remains unknown. No injuries were reported from the second vehicle.
Authorities said Tremel showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. He was arrested for two felony counts of DUI causing bodily injury and booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
