A two-vehicle collision left one vehicle overturned and injured one person in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Thursday night, August 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:05 p.m. at the intersection of South Stagecoach Lane and Brooke Road, east of Fallbrook High School.
CHP said the collision involved a Toyota pickup truck and a Volkswagen sedan. The Toyota overturned, and the sedan sustained severe damage. Initial reports suggested that the occupants of the Volkswagen might have been trapped, but deputies were able to assist them out of the vehicle. The sedan’s driver, a woman, was transported to Temecula Valley Hospital.
Authorities have not yet determined whether alcohol, speed, or distracted driving contributed to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
