[08-17-2023] Female Pedestrian Injured After Hit-and-Run Collision in OrovilleA female pedestrian was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Oroville on Thursday evening, August 17, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident at the Lincoln Boulevard and Ophir Road intersection around 10:38 p.m.

The pedestrian was walking when she was struck by a light-colored pickup truck, resulting in injuries. It is unknown where the suspect vehicle’s driver took off after the crash.

There was no release of information about the people involved. There was a description of the pickup truck as possibly being a Chevrolet or a GMC.
