[08-18-2023] Male Motorcyclist Killed Following Car Collision in IrwindaleA male motorcyclist was killed after a car collision in Irwindale on Friday evening, August 18, 2023.

According to the Irwindale Police Department, the incident occurred on Morada Street and Arrow Highway around 7:10 p.m.

A 2014 Honda Civic turned left from Moraga onto Arrow Highway, while a black 2021 Honda Rebel headed west on the same highway. The two vehicles then collided at the intersection, said IPD Sgt. Diego C.

A good Samaritan dialed 911. Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived, but sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Civic driver remained and cooperated with the authorities.

It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.

No information was released regarding the people’s identities pending an investigation.
