[08-20-2022] Kern County, CA – Unidentified Woman Killed in a Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Bakersfield

Following a fatal accident, an unidentified woman died in a pedestrian crash involving a car in Bakersfield on August 20, 2022.

There was a collision on Saturday at the intersection of L Street and California Avenue.

According to the preliminary investigation, the woman had reportedly crossed the street in the direction of traffic, which had a green light.

Officials from the Bakersfield Police Department have said that the fatal collision was not caused by speed or alcohol.
