[08-20-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – 1 Person Killed, 3 Others Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 near Manteca

A person was killed, while three others were injured after a two-vehicle collision near Manteca on Sunday morning, August 20, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 near French Camp Road shortly after 9:00 a.m.

It was reported that a Honda Accord collided with a Ford F-150. However, what caused the crash or what events led to it is still being determined.

The Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while three of the four Ford occupants were injured.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved.
