[08-20-2023] Tulare County, CA – Four People Injured After Vehicle vs. City Bus Collision in Visalia

Four people were injured after a collision involving a vehicle and a city bus in Visalia on Sunday afternoon, August 20, 2023.

The Visalia Police Department responded to the accident on Whitendale Avenue and Court Street around 2:45 p.m.

According to the reports, a vehicle crashed into the city bus due to losing control. Four people were injured, with one of them in critical condition. Only the driver was on the bus, and he was unharmed.

It was unknown whether the victims were transported to a hospital for treatment, but they are now recovering.

There was no clear indication whether the victims were all passengers in the car or some of them were pedestrians. The identities of the individuals have not yet been revealed.

There is an ongoing investigation.
