[08-21-2022] Orange County, CA - One Person Killed, Four Others Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in AnaheimAccording to authorities, at least four people, including three children, were taken to a hospital after a rollover accident on the eastbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim on Sunday evening, August 21, 2022.

According to Anaheim Fire & Rescue Battalion Chief Robert Stuart, the crash occurred just before 6:00 p.m. in the FasTrak lanes just west of Imperial Highway.

Local news footage showed a white Toyota Corolla with significant damage to the driver’s side and a black pickup truck with substantial front-end damage.

According to Stuart, one person was ejected from the pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Stuart, there were three minors and an adult in the Corolla. Unknown until later was which vehicle overturned.

The battalion chief said of the Corolla, it’s unclear how it sustained the damage, but it was quite extensive, and I was very happy to see that they are walking and being treated right now by a doctor.

Stuart said that drivers heading eastbound toward the Imperial Highway should expect delays as officials planned to stay on the scene for at least a few hours to investigate the cause of the collision.

The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision.
