A 42-year-old man, John M., was struck and killed after a pedestrian crash involving a vehicle late Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Huntington Beach.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. just south of Ellis Avenue.
According to the local authorities, Martinez was taken to the UCI Medical Center, where he suffered severe injuries until he died.
According to police, the black Toyota Camry in the collision was traveling north on Beach at the time.
The 42-year-old Hemet woman who was driving the car cooperated with them.
There is no indication of alcohol or drugs in the collision.
