[08-21-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – 60-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Adelanto

A 60-year-old woman, identified as Mary H., from Apple Valley, was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 395 in Adelanto on Friday night, August 21, 2026.

According to authorities, the incident was reported around 8:40 p.m. on Highway 395, south of Seneca Road.

Emergency personnel arrived and found the pedestrian down in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Ford Mustang involved in the collision was stopped in the southbound lanes. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities during the investigation.

Additional information about the circumstances leading to the crash was not immediately available.
