[08-23-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Pedestrian Dies after Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash near Willowbrook

One person in his 30s died after a hit-and-run accident involving one car and then another vehicle near Willowbrook early Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

The accident occurred around 1:56 a.m. at East Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue, close to the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The CHP declined to confirm it to City News Service, but FOX 11 claimed that the driver fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.

There were no reported arrests. There were no immediate descriptions of the vehicles available.
