[08-24-2023] Motorcyclist Dies After Fatal Collision With SUV In South OrvilleA motorcyclist was reported dead after a fatal collision with an SUV in Oroville, Butte County, on Thursday evening, August 26, 2023.

The Oroville Police Department responded to reports of a crash that occurred at around 8 p.m. along Greenville Street and Fallbrook Avenue in south Oroville.

The motorcycle rider died on-site, while the SUV driver only sustained minor injuries. It was not specified if the driver was the vehicle’s only occupant.

The authorities handling the incident released no further information regarding the identities of those involved in the crash.
