According to California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist intended to pass the traffic and crashed into an oncoming big rig in Fresno on August 26, 2022.
The crash occurred at around 2:00 p.m. near Highway 41 and Harlan Ave.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred after the traffic on Harlan Avenue had been rerouted due to the earlier crash.
The motorcyclist in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident as heavy traffic continued to pile up there.
As it was Friday evening when the crash occurred and getting closer to the weekend, the CHP believes that impatience was to blame for the unfortunate incident.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
