[08-26-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Dead in a High-Speed Collision Near Mason Avenue

Two drivers died following a two-vehicle crash near Mason Avenue on Friday night, August 26, 2022.

The Los Angeles Fire and Police department responded to a reported traffic incident along Victory Blvd and Mason Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered a two-vehicle crash with both drivers locked within their vehicles.

Firefighters utilized the Jaws of Life to free the victims. The white sedan’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second driver was freed and sent to a nearby hospital, where he was also confirmed dead.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
