[08-27-2022] Two-Vehicle Crash Killed One Person Just Outside DisneylandAccording to the authorities, a woman died in a two-vehicle crash that collided directly with a tree across Disneyland Resort early Saturday morning, August 27, 2022.

According to the Anaheim police, the crash occurred just before 3:00 a.m. in the 700 block of W. Katella Avenue just south of Disneyland California Adventure.

The driver of a white GMC Yukon hit a Dodge sedan from behind, the Anaheim police say. After that, the SUV hit a palm tree off the road.

The woman who was driving the Yukon died right away. The driver of the Dodge sedan stayed at the scene and helped the police in their work.

Sergeant Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department said that it didn’t look like the Dodge’s driver was drunk and that he wasn’t hurt.

The cause of the accident was still being looked into, and the Yukon driver was not named immediately.
