[08-27-2023] Sonoma County, CA – Woman Arrested in Connection to Hit-and-Run Collision Involving Injured Occupant in Santa Rosa

At least one occupant from another vehicle was injured following a hit-and-run that involved three vehicles in Santa Rosa on Sunday morning, August 27, 2023.

The Santa Rosa Police Department said the incident occurred at 10:03 a.m. at College Avenue and King Street.

According to the details provided in the report, a black SUV allegedly crashed into two vehicles. One of these vehicles had a person inside, subsequently taken to the hospital, while the other vehicle was parked and unattended.

Following that, law enforcement received information about a woman in a heated phone conversation at the Community Baptist Church parking lot. She revealed her SUV’s involvement in the collision during the conversation.

The suspect was identified as a 26-year-old woman, and she was subsequently taken into custody and processed at the Sonoma County Jail.
