[08-28-2023] Orange County, CA – Female Pedestrian Killed Following Car Collision in Garden Grove

A female pedestrian was killed after colliding with a car in Garden Grove on Monday morning, August 28, 2023.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the incident occurred in the 8700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard just before 7:25 p.m.

A Lexus RX300 was reported to have struck the woman while she was walking on the Boulevard. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Officials said alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the incident and no further information was released regarding the identities of the two people involved.

The investigation into the crash continues.
