[08-29-2023] Dos Palos Two-vehicle Crash Kills One Man and Injures Two, Including a ChildA 26-year-old man was killed, and two others, including a child, were injured after a collision involving two vehicles in Dos Palos on Tuesday morning, August 29, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash on Highway 152 at Turner Island Road around 5:30 a.m.

On Turner Island, the man disregarded a stop sign and proceeded to cross the two lanes of Highway 152. His car collided broadside with an approaching Honda carrying a 12-year-old child and a 38-year-old woman. As a result of his injuries, the man passed away on the scene.

Both the woman and the child sustained minor injuries. They were transported to a hospital for further treatment. It is reported that everyone wore a seatbelt during the incident.

The crash is not believed to have been caused by drugs or alcohol. An investigation is underway.
