[08-30-2023] Monterey County, CA – Male Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Seaside

A 49-year-old male pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle in Seaside on Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023.

The Seaside Police Department responded on Noche Buena Street and Wanda Avenue in front of Mal’s Market around 7:46 a.m.

A Ford pickup truck turned into Wanda Avenue and struck the husband in front of his wife as the couple crossed the street to reach a bus stop.

The vehicle’s driver cooperated with the police and remained on the scene. As of yet, no arrests have been made.

No further information was provided about those involved.

There is a road closure for the investigation at the moment.
