[09-01-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - One Person Killed, Another Injured Following a Semi-Truck in PalmdaleA horrific big rig crash in Palmdale resulted in a big rig lying on a damaged vehicle, killing one person and injuring another on Thursday, September 01, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened just after 2:20 p.m. at North Sierra Highway and East Avenue N.

One person was confirmed dead at the scene, while another was transferred by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The identities of the people involved were still unknown.

There were no other details available.

The accident remains under investigation.
