[09-02-2025] San Bernardino County, CA โ€“ Woman Killed in Crash with Semi-Tractor Trailer on Southbound I-15 Near Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga

A 28-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle collided with a semi-tractor-trailer in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday night, September 2, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 10:12 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 near the Foothill Boulevard exit.

Emergency personnel arriving on scene found a silver sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, partially lodged underneath the rear of a semi-trailer. Two additional vehicles were also involved in the collision.

The woman, later identified by the San Bernardino County Coronerโ€™s Office as Karina A. of Garden Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Traffic in the area was impacted for several hours while authorities conducted the investigation and cleared the roadway. CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
