Fatal Pedestrian Accident Statistics
Pedestrians are more likely to perish in an accident than passengers in an enclosed vehicle. The reason for this is that pedestrians are completely unprotected in the event of an accident.
In the US, the number of pedestrian deaths has alarmingly increased lately. Between 2007 and 2016, pedestrian deaths rose by 27%, while traffic-related deaths fell by 14%.
Some of the most stunning cities in the nation are found in California. Contrary to other states, Californian roads are regrettably less friendly to pedestrians. People from California frequently advise visitors to the state to walk extremely cautiously on the streets.

Speeding, careless driving, and failing to yield to pedestrians are a few common causes of pedestrian accidents.
