[09-03-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Three People Sustained Burn Injuries in an Apartment Building Fire in the University Park AreaThree people were burned in a fire inside a two-story apartment building in Los Angeles’ University Park neighborhood on Saturday evening, September 03, 2022.

According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange, the victims were a 35-year-old male, a 30-year-old woman, and a 10-year-old kid whose gender was not revealed.

According to Prange, the fire broke out at around 7:03 p.m. at 1368 W. 24th St. The fire was reported.

The fire department sent 34 firefighters to the scene and put out the fire in 11 minutes.

All three victims were taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
