According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, one person died, and four others were transported to a hospital after a two-vehicle collision that resulted in a fire in the City of Industry Sunday, September 4, 2022.
The collision occurred around 5:46 p.m. on Mangate Ave. and Temple Ave. Flames completely engulfed both of the vehicles.
As witnesses looked on from a safe distance, police officers cordoned off the area around the accident.
Just before midnight on Sunday, the California Highway Patrol made the tragic discovery and confirmed it.
There was no additional information about what caused the crash or the condition of the people who were injured.
