[09-06-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Victorville

A 44-year-old man, identified as Jaime M., died after being struck by a vehicle in Victorville early Sunday morning, September 6, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident was reported around 4:03 a.m. in the area of Silica Drive and First Avenue.

Investigators said a black Mercedes-Benz C-Class was traveling eastbound on Silica Drive, west of First Avenue, when it struck the pedestrian.

The victim suffered major injuries and was transported by American Medical Response to Providence Saint Mary Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Mercedes-Benz driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said drugs and alcohol were not believed to have been factors in the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
