[09-11-2022] Calaveras County, CA – One Woman Injured in Boating Accident on Lake Camanche

An unidentified woman was injured after getting struck by a jet ski in Calaveras County on Sunday afternoon, September 11, 2022.

The accident occurred on a Sunday afternoon on Lake Camanche.

According to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department, she was run over by a jet ski while in water that was about four feet deep and moving quickly.

She reportedly suffered a head injury and was transported by air to a trauma center in the central valley.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
