[09-11-2022] Bicyclist Seriously Injured in a Hit-and-Run in Newport BeachAccording to authorities, a man riding a bicycle was severely injured after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Newport Beach on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

The accident happened at 8:30 a.m. near Fletcher Jones Motorcars.

According to authorities, the suspect’s car was going southbound on Jamboree Road in the 3000 Block when it collided with the bicyclist.

The driver of the vehicle involved left the scene. Meanwhile, the victim was in critical condition.

According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the automobile was described as a white sedan with a cracked windshield.

Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
