[09-11-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Several People Taken To Hospital in Crash Involving Two Big Rigs in Redlands

Several people were taken to a hospital following a crash involving two big rigs on the 10 Freeway in Redlands, San Bernardino County, early Friday morning, September 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 3:05 a.m. at the Alabama Street off-ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway.

Responding officers found an unconscious person on the ground between the Alabama Street off-ramp and the Tennessee Street on-ramp. Initial information indicated that the person may have been ejected from one of the trucks.

One big rig sustained extensive cab damage, with the cab becoming detached from its trailer. The second semi-truck’s trailer split apart after striking a freeway support beam.

CHP confirmed that multiple people were transported to a local hospital. Information about their conditions was not immediately available.

The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
