One unidentified person was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Shafter on Monday, September 12, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of Santa Fe Way and Cherry Avenue.
The officers were called after receiving reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
There is no additional information available at this time.
The Shafter police stopped all northbound traffic on Sante Fe Way between Orange Avenue and Riverside Street as a result of their investigation.
