[09-15-2022] One Driver Killed After a Rollover Crash on I-15According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorist was killed in a rollover crash involving two automobiles on northbound Interstate 15 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

The collision occurred at 4:50 a.m. on Interstate 15’s northbound lanes, right beyond the Main Street onramp.

The accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

According to a witness, the dark gray Chevrolet Malibu was rushing in and out of traffic lanes on the northbound I-15 before the crash.

The Chevrolet driver may have collided with the black Toyota Camry, causing both vehicles to lose control and roll over numerous times.

Firefighters treated everyone involved in the incident and reported that the driver of the Toyota died on the spot.

The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu was just slightly injured. He reported that he remained on the scene and worked with CHP authorities.

According to witnesses, the driver did not appear to be intoxicated.

All main lanes of the freeway were closed and reopened several hours later.
