[09-22-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision Resulted in Woman killed, Man Severely Injured in HesperiaAccording to the authorities, a woman was killed, and a man was airlifted and in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision in Hesperia early Thursday morning, September 22, 2022.

The crash transpired at about 6:13 a.m. on Summit Valley Road, just west of Trout Street.

A white 2010 Dodge Avenger and a gray 2015 Dodge Challenger were both in the accident.

San Bernardino County Fire says the woman driving the white sedan was killed at the scene. The male driver of the other car was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center by helicopter, which was called for by the firefighters.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to take the white car’s door off so the coroner could get in.

Summit Valley Road was closed near Foley Street and the Hesperia Airport so police could look into what was happening. At the time of the crash, there were no people in either of the cars.

The CHP station in Victorville is looking into the cause of the accident, and more information will be added as it becomes available.
