[09-24-2022] One Woman Killed After Being Ejected Following Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Santa AnaAccording to California police, a woman was killed in the street as her companions fled after a fatal collision at an intersection in Santa Ana on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

According to Santa Ana police, the crash happened at 5:41 a.m. in Santa Ana.

A car reportedly ran a red light and was struck by another vehicle.

According to the police, the collision caused a woman to be thrown from the first car. Her traveling companions sped off.

According to the release, the woman was found lying in the street when firefighters and police arrived.

She was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where she was later declared dead.

According to the press release, the second driver stayed on the scene and helped the police.

The investigators are looking for the other passengers in the first car in addition to anyone who may have witnessed the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
