[09-26-2022] Santa Cruz County, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Vehicle Collision at Wilder Ranch State Park

According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle crash on State Route 1 north of Santa Cruz Monday, September 26, 2022.

The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. on State Route 1 at Wilder Ranch State Park.

The reporting party allegedly told the California Highway Patrol that a woman who appeared to be intoxicated was crossing the road when she was struck by a vehicle.

As the California Highway Patrol is still waiting for medical assistance, it is currently unknown how severe the injuries are.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Highway 1 has been closed in both directions at Wilder Ranch State Park.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
