[09-27-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision Results in Major Injuries in NapaAccording to the California Highway Patrol, a St. Helena woman had suffered severe injuries after a head-on two-vehicle collision on Spring Mountain Road Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

The crash occurred at about 7:20 a.m. on Spring Mountain Road, west of Langtry Road, in Napa County.

The CHP says that a 75-year-old woman from St. Helena, identified as Maria O., was driving a Toyota Yaris east on Spring Mountain Road, while a 33-year-old man from Napa was driving a Toyota Tundra pickup truck west.

The report says that the driver of the Toyota Yaris crossed the double yellow lines into the westbound lane for an unknown reason, right into the path of the Toyota Tundra, and the two cars crashed.

The driver of the Yaris was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center by an ambulance from American Medical Response.

They had severe injuries that needed to be treated. The driver of the Tundra had minor injuries, but his passenger was not hurt, and the report said he was not taken to the hospital.
